Burnt Out?

Whether your burnout is stemming from work/life balance, family demands, university life, or chronic stressors, my approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a deep respect for your unique experience.

I draw on strategies from a range of therapeutic models such as Person-Centred Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems therapy and Dialetical Behaviour Therapy to create a calm, non-judgemental space where you can begin to slow down, feel heard, and start to reconnect with yourself.
My aim is to support you clarify what your hopes are and what some of the factors are that have contributed to you being in place so that you are empowered to make sustainable changes, restore your energy, and move forward with a renewed sense of clarity, purpose, and balance.
Working Together
In the first few sessions sessions, we may focus on exploring what’s contributing to your sense of overload and also identify immediate ways to reduce some of the pressure you are facing so that you can regain a sense of control. This may include discussing relationships you have with loved ones or others, how to create healthy boundaries that don’t feel forced or confrontational, exploring perfectionism, or identifying sources of chronic stress in your work or personal life.

For some individuals, it can be clarifying to work towards uncovering deeper patterns that may be driving burnout, such as people-pleasing, difficulty saying no, or unresolved trauma. Overtime we can do this. I can help you build emotional resilience by learning to identifying what your values and priorities are and reconnect with them.
